Microsoft's latest operating system.
After the small failure of Vista (due mainly to its low acceptance level), Microsoft has launched a new operating system that
substantialy improves all the earlier systems, both in security and performance as well as appearance, offering the users a tool capable of working as a Media Center or a real war horse.
One of the main features of
Windows 7 is the
low quantity of resource necessary to use it and the good performance of the system in practically any modern computer. Another impotant features is the
improvement in what respects to the security, including a rather complete security suite and renewing the firewall included in Windows.
In what referes to the visual appearance Microsoft has decided to include
Aero Peek (a modern system to preview files),
Aero Shake (a new way to manage the windows), and the new
Ribbon interface that will endow Windows with a practical, modern and simple appearance with which to work. What's more, new versions of
Windows Media Center and
Windows Media Player will be included in the system offering compatibility with practically all the multimedia format standards (H.264, DivX, MJPEG, DV, AAC, LPCM, MOV, 3GP, WTV and MP4, among others).
Windows 7 will be compatible with
BluRay, Bluetooth, Multi-touch systems and practically any modern day communication system. The system will include a communication pack called Windows Live Essentials that includes a series of applications for the communication via our computer (Live Mail, Live Messenger, Silverlight, Live Sync or Live Movie Maker).
